FAQ
-
What vaccinations does my dog need?
For the safety of all our guests, we require all dogs to be up to date on their vaccinations. Specifically, we need proof of rabies, parvo, distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. Ensuring these vaccinations are current helps maintain a healthy environment for every dog in our care.
-
What should I bring for my dog's stay?
We recommend bringing your dog’s food and any necessary medications. We provide bedding, bowls, and plenty of enrichment during their stay.
-
How do I schedule drop off and pick up for boarding??
We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. Pick-up and drop-off times are by appointment only, so please contact us at 515-257-6471 to arrange a time that works for you.
-
Are you licensed?
Yes! We are licensed and inspected by the Iowa Department of Agriculture.
-
How much notice do I need to give to book a boarding stay?
It depends on our current schedule, but we always prefer as much notice as possible to ensure availability. However, we understand that plans can change, and we are often able to accommodate last-minute requests. Contact us to check current availability and make arrangements.
-
Do you accept all dogs for boarding?
Yes, we welcome dogs of all ages and breeds for our boarding and training services. However, please note that dogs with special needs or specific requirements may incur additional charges to ensure we can provide the best possible care. All dogs and puppies must be fully vaccinated before attending. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept dogs for boarding, daycare, or board and trains that show aggression towards humans or other dogs, pose a significant flight risk, or cannot be kenneled safely without risk of self-injury. Your dog's safety and the well-being of all our guests are our top priorities.
