Boarding at Maybe It’s Magic

At Maybe It’s Magic, we provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching boarding experience tailored to your dog’s needs. Our climate-controlled kennel area, attached directly to our home, ensures your dog is always close by and well cared for. Dogs enjoy regular leash walks every two to four hours for potty breaks, and we incorporate plenty of enrichment activities to keep them happy and engaged during their stay.

We strive to meet every dog where they’re at while prioritizing their safety and well-being. Whether it’s a short stay or a longer vacation, we’re here to ensure your dog feels at home.

What’s Included

  • Comfortable Accommodations: Spacious 5' x 10' kennels with elevated beds and blankets, climate controlled and directly attached to our family home.

  • Enrichment Activities: Options include Kongs*, lick mats*, natural chews*, toys, playtime, and sniff walks.

  • Personalized Care: Regular health checks, potty breaks every two to four hours, and individualized attention for your dog.

  • Food Options: We provide Diamond dog food at no additional cost. However, we prefer owners bring their dog’s food to maintain consistency and comfort.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Pick-up and drop-off times are arranged by appointment, with last-minute bookings often accommodated.

  • Stay Connected: We provide text and picture updates throughout your dog’s stay, so you can have peace of mind knowing how they’re doing and enjoy a glimpse of their time with us.

*Food-based enrichment is provided with owner approval.

Special Considerations

We accommodate a wide variety of dogs and tailor our care to meet their individual needs. However, we cannot board dogs that:

  • Show aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs.

  • Exhibit barrier aggression, such as fence fighting.

  • Experience extreme anxiety that leads to property damage, self-injury, illness, or a significant flight risk.

All dogs must be in good health to board.

What to Bring

To make your dog’s stay as smooth as possible, please pack the following:

  • Their regular food and any treats if you’re not using our house food (Diamond Naturals or Diamond Performance).

  • Any medications, along with clear instructions for administration.

  • A favorite toy or blanket* for added comfort, if desired.

*While we do our best to keep your dog’s belongings safe, we are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Vaccination Requirements

For the health and safety of all dogs, we require proof of the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies

  • Parvo

  • Distemper

  • Bordetella

Booking and Cancellation Policy

We prefer at least two weeks’ notice for bookings to ensure availability but can often accommodate last-minute requests. Space is limited to four families’ dogs at a time, ensuring each guest receives attentive and personalized care.

Cancellations for bookings with more than two dogs or stays longer than five days will incur a $25 cancellation fee if canceled less than 72 hours before the stay.
